Your Trusted Advisor

Caleb M. Lopez, MBA, IAR | Wealth Management Advisor

I started University Wealth Advisors because faculty and staff deserve more than generic financial advice. Academic compensation is its own world — different custodians, 403(b) and 457(b) plans, pension elections, tenure-track timelines — and most advisors simply don't specialize in it. I built this firm to close that gap.

Academic Credentials
I'm also a Professional Instructor of Finance at Walsh University's DeVille School of Business, where I teach Advanced Portfolio Management and Macroeconomics to undergraduate finance students. Teaching keeps me close to the theory — portfolio construction, capital markets, behavioral finance — and I bring that same academic rigor into every plan I build for clients. It also means I understand the academic career path from the inside: the benefits, the timelines, the tradeoffs, because I live in that world too.

Personal
I live in Canton, Ohio, with my wife Mary and our son. Outside the office and the classroom, I'm restoring a 1928 Georgian Colonial home — a project that's taught me the same lesson I bring to financial planning: the details matter, and doing it right takes patience
